Lessons Info


Main aspects of lessons:
  • Music Theory- understanding the "why" of music in general
  • Ear Training- Training your mind to distinguish and discern what it is hearing
  • Sight-reading music- developing the coordination to translate the notes on the page to the keys of the piano.

       There are many other things that I deem extremely important to teach, such as correct technique, hand position, posture, etc.  I teach lessons weekly and hold two recitals each year, a early-summer recital and a Christmas recital. Everything I have been taught since kindergarten I will pass on to you.  As long as you promise to be patient and diligent, I guarantee you will see yourself grow into a pianist in no time.



Lesson Duration:
30 minutes.  Weekly lessons only.  

Location:
 I teach In-Home lessons, so lessons are wherever YOU live.  I do offer lessons in my home if you live close enough and would rather drive to me.  Whichever works best for you.  I teach in many areas and don't mind driving a little bit, within reason, for a lesson.

      These are locations to which I currently commute for lessons:   Farmington Hills, Orchard Lake, West Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Hills, Lake Orion, Rochester Hills, Royal Oak, Oak Park, and Clinton Township.

Prices:
1 student---     $25-$30 (depending on driving distance)
          2 students---    $50
          3 students---     $70
